How a limo affiliate network works.

An affiliate network lets one chauffeured-transportation operator hand a trip to another vetted operator, usually because the trip is in another city or the first operator's cars are full. The operator who sold the trip keeps the client. The affiliate drives it as the licensed carrier and gets paid for it.

A client lands in a city where the seller has no cars. An affiliate there runs the trip.
01

Why operators use one

No operator has cars in every city, and no fleet is the right size every night of the year.

Without a network, that trip is a phone call, a text with the details, a rate agreed by memory and an invoice weeks later. Or the trip is turned down and the client books someone else.

A network puts the hand-off in software: the trip, the price and the payment move in one place, and the client never sees a gap.

Taking trips: the affiliate side

On Privé, affiliates claim network trips from a job board and run them in the same system they dispatch with.

Approved affiliates see trips at their level and below. Pay is on the offer before anyone accepts. The affiliate's own dispatch, driver app and payouts handle the rest.

The affiliate stays the carrier of record, and its permit is printed on the trip.

The client stays with the operator who sold the trip.
03

Giving trips: the Professional side

A Professional Operator sends overflow to the network at a price it sets, and keeps the difference.

That makes a Professional Operator a booker as well as an operator. Book a vetted operator in Aspen or Chicago for your own client, at your price.

Before you join any network, ask four things: who keeps the client, who is the carrier, how fast you get paid, and what the fee is on each trip.

Quick answers

What is a limo affiliate?

A licensed chauffeured-transportation operator that runs trips sold by another operator or booker, usually in its own city. It drives as the carrier of record; the seller keeps the client relationship.

Who owns the client on an affiliate trip?

The operator or booker who sold the trip. On Privé, the client stays with the seller, and the affiliate is named as the carrier with its permit on the trip.

How much does it cost to join the Privé affiliate network?

The Affiliate Network plan is $0 a month. Privé takes 5% on network trips only.

Can an operator both give and take network trips?

Yes. A Professional Operator ($149 a month) runs the whole business, gives overflow trips to the network at its own price and keeps the difference, and can still take trips.

How do affiliates find trips on Privé?

On the job board. Approved affiliates see network trips at their level and below, with the pay shown before they accept.
